Vote for Mrs. Weller's new arts program (Trinity Arts Enrichment Center) below!
PLEASE vote for our video... you can vote once a day (today until May 12th) so I apologize in advance for being a bit annoying over the next month with reminding you to vote again and again!!! ;-)
I am going to start a non-profit called Trinity Arts Enrichment Center and this $100,000 grant would be amazing to get us off the ground!!!
A lot of youth struggle finding their niche in life and a way to fit in and become successful doing something they like and are good at.
Trinity will be a free program where youth high school aged through age 20 can gain experience with employable art skills, learning the chosen art skill while learning the business side of the arts as well.
We picture the program growing in phases and the first phase will offer drawing/painting, photography, screen printing, graphics, pottery and jewelry making.
Participants will gain art skills as well as business and social skills through their work in teams with artist mentors to complete projects.
We will work with the community to offer affordable services in the fields we are working (graphics/photography/etc.).
We will also work with the community to give back using our time and talents to make our community a better place.
I am SO excited to get this going!!! PLEASE vote for us!!! It doesn't cost you a thing but you could help impact SO MANY lives!!!
PLEASE share this with your friends and family, so we can get the word out and win this money! :-)
(FYI... we remade this video with easer to hear student audio interviews and more awkward video information from me... but they didn't swap out the old video with the new one like they said :-( dagnabbit!
So... don't judge the video too harshly because the 2nd one was better! LOL!!! Shout out to my awesome student Vanchy for putting all the clips together and dealing with my craziness on this!!!)
